Twitch Drops

Twitch Drops are a great way to unlock in-game items just for watching some of your favourite Predecessor streamers live on Twitch!

How to Take Part

In order to receive free rewards, you need to first connect your Twitch.tv account to your Predecessor account!

If you've already done this, move on to step 2. Otherwise, click here to complete the process!

Step 2 - Watch an Eligible Predecessor Streamer!

Head to Twitch and tune in to a stream with Drops enabled. You can find eligible streams here.

To gain rewards, you must watch for the required amount of time. You can check your progress and the unlock requirements at any time via the Twitch Drops Inventory Page.

Step 3 - Get your Reward!

Once you've hit 100% progress on the reward you're trying to claim, head to the Twitch Drops Inventory Page to claim the drop.

Then, just open Predecessor and enjoy your reward!

I've already earned a drop on Twitch, how do I receive it in game?

If you've already met the criteria for a Twitch Drop reward, visit the Twitch Drops inventory page to redeem it to your game account.

I followed all the steps to redeem a reward on Twitch but I haven't received it in-game. What should I do?

Sometimes rewards from Twitch Drops can take a few minutes to be credited to your account. Please be patient, and try relogging as rewards are typically pushed to game accounts on log in.

If you're still having issues collecting Twitch Drops, visit our Player Support hub.

Do I have to watch a stream consecutively in order to meet the required watch time for a reward?

Nope! Twitch tracks all progress made towards rewards meaning you're free to leave a stream at any time and return to it later on to continue progressing towards your reward.

Additionally you can swap to any other eligible stream at any point during a Twitch Drops event and still continue your progress towards rewards, provided you swap to another eligible stream.

I missed out on a reward or didn't finish unlocking a reward before a Twitch Drops Event ended! Do I still have a chance to claim it?

Unfortunately once a Twitch Drops Event ends you'll be unable to claim any rewards you may have already unlocked or finish unlocking any rewards you had partially unlocked.

Make sure you claim any rewards you are entitled to as you unlock them, and tune in to new streams and follow the official Predecessor social channels for more opportunities to unlock new rewards!
