How to switch to DirectX 11 on Epic Games Store?

Having performance issues while playing Predecessor on DirectX 12?
You may see improved performance by switching to DirectX 11. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.

2. Click on the first letter of your username in the top-right corner.

3. Select Settings.

4. Scroll to find Predecessor, then expand the section.

5. Tick the box for Additional Command Line Arguments.

6. Enter the following: -d3d11

The next time you launch Predecessor, it will run using DirectX 11, which may help improve performance.

To revert back to DirectX 12, simply remove the command line argument.
