What is Easy Anti-Cheat Error Code 23?

This error means that some necessary software such as DirectX, GPU drivers, Windows updates, Visual C++ Redistributables cannot be found by the program. 

In order to fix this, please try the following steps:

• Remove the Easy Anti-Cheat Certificates & Install/Repair Easy Anti-Cheat:
  • Navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Predecessor\EasyAntiCheat
  • Delete the 'Certificates' directory
  • Navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Predecessor\installers\EasyAntiCheat 
  • Run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup installer and proceed as instructed
  • Then use the 'Verify Integrity of Game File"
    
    
• Make sure that all the Windows updates have been installed. 
• Reinstall your GPU drivers. 
• Reinstall the Visual C++ Redistributables.
