PlayStation 4 Sunsetting
Following on from our announcement last year, we’ll soon be sunsetting the PlayStation 4 version of Predecessor.
Predecessor has been unlisted on the PlayStation 4 store for some time now, but still playable for anyone who had already downloaded the game. Starting next week however we’ll be discontinuing support completely, meaning even those with the game downloaded and installed will be unable to play going forwards.
While it will no longer be possible to play on PS4 after this point, game data tied to a PlayStation 4 account will be preserved, meaning you can recover your account data anytime, even after the sunset date.
The exact date when we'll be discontinuing support for PlayStation 4 is January 14th, coinciding with the V1.3 Game Update.
Moving from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5
Simply log in with the same PlayStation account you used previously on your PlayStation 4 and you’ll be right back in the action on your PlayStation 5, with account progress, purchases etc. all ready and waiting for you.
Moving from PlayStation 4 to Xbox, Steam or Epic Games
Account migration will be releasing shortly and will allow you to migrate your data from PlayStation 4 to any other platform. Please keep an eye out for further instructions in the coming days.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
